I don’t know what’s more surprising: the fact that Ariana Grande has collaborated with literally almost everyone ever, or that she did it all on the same album.

Her sophomore effort, My Everything — out August 25 — features six, um, features in total with the likes of Iggy Azalea (“Problem”), Zedd (“Break Free”), Big Sean (“Best Mistake”), Cashmere Cat (“Be My Baby”), Childish Gambino (“Break Your Heart Right Back”), and A$AP Ferg (“Hands On Me”), plus a duet with The Weeknd (“Love Me Harder”). The LP’s basically the sonic equivalent of the popular table in the lunch room, and yes — you can sit with them.

We caught up with Ariana to ask her all about working with some of the Hip Hop, R&B and EDM world’s rising stars: “I feel like a lot of people were surprised by the collaborations, but I feel like I’ve always been a little unexpected with my collaborations,” she told us.

“When I was Cat Valentine [her character on Nickelodeon's "Victorious" and "Sam & Cat"), I didn't think anybody expected me to come out with my first single with Mac Miller."
