With Donald Trump under heavy fire from
Democrats and the political establishment, many observers thought his
comments about Senator John McCain (R-AZ) would end his campaign.
But Trump just received MAJOR support from the top conservative radio host in America… Rush Limbaugh!
Limbaugh called upon his loyal fans to rally to Trump’s defense.
McCain has spent a long career in the U.S. Senate slamming
conservatives, and Trump deserves our full-throated support for standing
up to him.
As Limbaugh noted, America has not seen “something like this in a long time.” The 2016 presidential contest is unique, as America has “not seen an embattled public figure stand up for himself, double down and tell everybody to go to hell.”
Limbaugh noted that liberals find it perfectly acceptable when one of their own criticize John McCain. They did so throughout the 2008 campaign when he ran for President against then Senator Barack Obama. Limbaugh is reminding us that – if you love Trump or hate Trump – you must admire his willingness to fight back and never back down. He is on the attack, and is speaking the truth!
That’s why Rush Limbaugh is supporting him in this battle against the mainstream media.

“Trump can survive this, Trump is surviving this,” Mr. Limbaugh said at the start of his three-hour program on Monday, two days after Mr. Trump took issue with the description of Mr. McCain, a former Vietnam prisoner-of-war, as a “war hero.” “This is a great, great teachable moment here, this whole thing with Trump and McCain.”
Last week, Mr. Limbaugh expressed aggravation with Mr. McCain, who has never been a favorite of the Republican base, for saying that Mr. Trump was riling up “the crazies” in the party with his comments about illegal immigrants from Mexico.
Mr. Limbaugh described the dust-up as an over-hyped effort from “the drive-by media.” He returned to the topic in the show’s second hour, pointing out that Democrats have taken shots at Mr. McCain’s service — including Senator Al Franken of Minnesota, years before he was elected to the Senate.

Ted Cruz: The Only Candidate Who’s Demonstrated Opposition to the Establishment

Ted Cruz is the best bet for returning Ronald Reagan’s principles to the White House.

Thank you for the flip, though Mr. Limbaugh

DONALD COULD WELL BE THE ANSWER TO OUR DYSFUNCTIONAL DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN POLICIES. WE ARE DOING MUCH WORSE WITH THE CURRENT OCCUPANT OF OUR WHITE HOUSE.
I then wondered, how many others have switched parties, and is that somehow an unpardonable sin on the part of Trump, or anyone? The thing is, Paul has spoken very favorably about R. Reagan in the past.
Then from the Wikipedia on Reagan, I discovered the following:
In the context of this article, “HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT About DONALD TRUMP”, possibly Rush sees a little of the fighter, (Trump) as was seen in the past by Reagan. Maybe it is simple. What if you have to be a prisoner of the left before you can really fight the good fight.”>
The McCain story is a curious one. Records of McCain’s period as a POW were classified upon his return from North Vietnam. His commanding officer, while a POW, was Colonel Ted Guy who submitted a series of charges to military prosecutors citing McCain for, among other things, treason. Thirty-three POWs faced court martial with McCain, by far, accused of the most serious crimes. It was also McCain, son of an admiral who was also the son of an admiral who had to be protected. John McCain was awarded a full pardon for his crimes by President Richard Nixon. Thus, the worst traitor in American history became the “war hero” to a generation. As a non politician, what I find absurd is the “Inside the Beltway – PC – put your head in the sand” outlook of the career Republican politicians, the “Well, if we don’t offend those who would destroy us maybe they would vote for us”.
It is TOTALLY INSANE to think that the Hispanic voters (both US Citizens and illegal aliens – who can vote numerous times as they have nothing to loose) will vote Republican in any great number. What can the Republicans offer them that the Democrats do not!
At the risk of being called truthful (n/k/a racists, politically incorrect), on the whole Hispanics tend to have more children than non-Hispanic Whites. This means they stand to gain more from government programs which are typically based on the number of children in the household (notice I didn’t say Family), so they can be counted on to support Democrats.
Yet the RNC continues to trow the rest of un under the bus – alleging they are doing it for practical political reasons.
Even the inside the beltway political class cannot be THAT stupid. In reality they simply want more cheap labor (even those on welfare work “off book” or can be expected to take the Black plan – do not get married so the Baby Moma collects the welfare leaving the Baby Daddy free to work without reducing the welfare benefits).
Get your head out of the sand. IT IS THE DEMOCRATS GOING SO FAR LEFT WITH THEIR ULTRA LIBERAL POLICIES.
Not one Democrat will stand up and fight the ULTRA LEFT agenda and I know there are some Democrats who do not like it.
He is smart and a great business man, but can he be also a statesman and a leader of both our country and the free world with this inherent unbounded ego? I want a competent, articulate, and experienced person to be our next President that we can trust to lead our country toward a more stable and secure state of affairs across the board. We need to recover from the uncontrolled borrowing and spending, the unbounded expansion of government, the defanging our our military technology and depth of capabilities, our stagnant economy, and this continual circumvention of our Constitution and its stated processes of governing. We need to repair our foreign policies which the Obama administration has turned upside down. It is a huge job and one that takes a special person to be able to actually handle, and Hillary Clinton is far from being that person.
Trump does not fit the mold for me. His participation in the debates can be helpful in our search for the best Republican candidate for President as he will force the debate head on into the most troubling problems and expose who has the best ideas in dealing with them.
So, for me, I am glad Trump is particiapating, but vote for him? I do not think so.
I am not a fan of Rush, but I agree with this statement. You have a 2 party system in the USA that is really only 1 party. Trump is different… no doubt.
Just listening to Art Bell on his second night with his new show – Midnight In The desert – and he is wanting to interview Donald Trump. There you go. Everybody wants a piece of the Donald.
I have just done a video on my YouTube channel: {Donald Trump, John McCain and the 1967 Disaster On Board the USS Forrestal”
