Mwanamke mmoja wa miaka 68 anashikiliwa na Polisi katika kituo cha Polisi cha Kakamega nchini Kenya kwa tuhuma za kumchoma mme wake mwenye miaka 79 kwa kisu mpaka akafariki.
Majirani wa familia hiyo wanasema tukio hilo lilitokea baada ya marehemu kula chakula chote kilichokuwa kimeachwa kwenye sufuria.
Mtuhumiwa alishikwa na hasira na kumshambukia mme wake kwa kisu cha jikoni.

A 68-year-old woman is being held at the Kakamega Police Station after she allegedly stabbed her 79-year-old husband to death at Khayega area in Shinyalu, Kakamega County.
According to neighbours, the couple was fighting after the deceased allegedly ate all the food that was in a cooking pan.
They say the suspect became angry and attacked her husband with a kitchen knife, him to death.
Shinyalu OCPD Joseph Chebii said investigations have been launched into the incident, and the body of the deceased taken to Kakamega County Hospital Mortuary.
Elsewhere, a middle-aged man is currently fighting for his life at Kisii Referal Hospital with six arrows lodged in his body.
It is reported that the man, William Ong’eni, was allegedly shot by a watchman guarding the Kisii Sports Club for trespassing in a golf course.
Ongeni said he had gone to inquire why the guard was chasing children who were crossing in the golf course, but the guard instead started shooting him with arrows.
Area MCA Wilfred Monyeye said the path that connects Nyanchwa Estate and Kisii Town has been there for a long time and questioned why residents were being denied access.
