The will of the people must always be respected, granted and protected for peace and tranquility to prevail. The leadership must always have to have not only legitimacy of the led but also the legitimacy (through elections) must be genuine. Congrats to Kenya for defending the respect, fidelity and credibility of your constitution. The decision of your Supreme Court today marks a historical milestone in African democracy and rule of law. The names of the men behind it shall be written in golden ink. The Chief Justice of Kenya, David Maraga (pictured) is a man in the limelights.
