The South African Police Service have shed a little bit more light on Senzo Meyiwa’s murder, seemingly saying that it was indeed a house robbery.


Meyiwa, 27, was sadly shot and killed last night by armed assailants at his girlfriend’s house in Vosloorus. Now, as the nation mourns the loss of it’s national team captain, the police service have described two of the suspects, as well as urging them to hand themselves in.
 
The SAPS sent out the following tweets:

Two of the #SenzoMeyiwa suspects are believed to be in late 20's/early 30's, one is tall, slender & the other, short & well built.
The cellphone taken during alleged house robbery, did not belong to #SenzoMeyiwa, it was being charged on premises.
Gen #Phiyega advised that a reward of R250 000 is being offered for info leading to arrest/conviction of #SenzoMeyiwa suspects.
Community Police Board chair @AndyMashaile5 calls on suspects in #SenzoMeyiwa case to hand themselves over to police.
