Dar es Salaam, Tuesday July 5, 2016.
In an effort to meet the personalized needs of their customers, Vodacom Tanzania has today launched an offer dubbed
“Ya kwako tu” which provides the customer tailor made bundles
based on their preferences of service be it ‘data, voice, SMS’ or ‘SMS
and voice’.
The
personalized offer will allow Vodacom customers to purchase bundles
based on prior service preferences. The offer comes as one of Vodacom
Tanzania’s efforts to give its customers the power to access what they
actually need at reasonable prices and steer away from a one size fits
all approach.
Explaining
further on how the offer works, Vodacom Tanzania, Managing Executive:
Corporate Affairs, Rosalynn Mworia said the “Vodaocom’s
Ya kwako tu offer essentially gives a customer who tends to use
our voice and SMS services more frequently than data services for
instance, the power to maximize on his/her spend by choosing the
enriched Just For You bundle with more voice minutes and
SMS tailor-made to their usage thus offering more value”
“The
Ya kwako tu offer speaks directly to a customer as an individual
based on their history of mobile service use and preferences, this means
different customers will get different offers, each offer is tailored
differently to a particular customer to correspond
with their service preferences,” she said.
Mworia
said this goes to show that Vodacom Tanzania indeed recognises its
various customers have different communication service needs from one
another and therefore, Vodacom has innovated towards serving each
accordingly.
“We
are aware that different customers have different needs, thus others
need data more than voice bundles so giving similar offers regardless
of a customer’s specific needs is not valuable to all of our customers.
We have therefore, made it easy for our customers and taken away the
need for them to shop around for a bundle that best fits their daily,
weekly and monthly usage and instead go straight
to the *149* 01# menu and select the customized bundle just for them tailored to each individually” added Mworia.
To access the service and see what the”Ya kwako tu”has in store specifically for you, one will have to dial *149* 01#
and select”Ya kwako tu”. From there one will see a list of offers as per their service preferences.
